Setting is the step that puts the finished memorial at the cemetery. It comes after you have approved the shop drawing and the shop has cut, polished, and engraved the stone. We install nearby or ship free.
Where installation is included, and where the monument ships for the cemetery or a local installer to set, is written on the shipping and installation page. Some cemeteries use their own foundation crew. When they do, that work and any fee for it belong to the cemetery. Ask the cemetery, and read the shipping page, before you treat the listing price as the amount due at the grave.
The shipping page is also where timing is written down. We confirm timing when you order, for your cemetery and your design.
After the stone is set, you and your project manager do a final walk-through. The punch list is the short list of what you still want looked at. Most families look at the name, the dates, and the placement. Final approval is this last look, with the memorial in place.
The steps that lead here are the build that comes before the stone is set. The drawing the shop followed is the approved CAD proof.
