The written coverage, in one place
The returns page is the policy. This page repeats the craftsmanship warranty already written there, so you can find it without reading the cancellation rules first.
What it covers
- Structural defects in the granite, such as cracking, splitting, or delamination not caused by external forces
- Engraving deterioration under normal weather conditions, such as significant fading or loss of definition
- Foundation settling or failure under normal soil conditions
What it does not cover
- Damage from vandalism, accidents, or intentional acts
- Damage from natural disasters, including earthquakes, floods, tornadoes, and lightning
- Normal weathering and patina over time
- Damage from cemetery maintenance equipment, such as mowers and trimmers
- Unauthorized modifications, additions, or repairs by third parties
- Biological growth such as moss, lichen, and algae
A proof is not this warranty
Approving a proof means we cut the layout you approved. The review checks that layout. It is not a promise about how the lettering will look in every kind of light. If we introduce an error that was not on the proof, the returns page says we correct it at our expense. If the proof itself had an error you approved, a correction is a modification.
The returns page does not state a number of years for this warranty. Until that term is written down, this page does not add one.
